Initiating a change request

If supported by your organization’s engineering change process, you can initiate a change request using the Asset Management Module. The information that you enter is saved in the vault with the current document and is visible by Meridian Enterprise users who can process the change request using a Meridian Enterprise workflow.

Tip    In addition to the textual information that you provide in the following procedure, you can electronically redline the documents of some formats in the viewer pane.

To initiate a change request:

  1. View the Document property page for the document for which you want to initiate a change request.
  2. Select or enter values for the properties using the descriptions in the following table.

Select a category for the change request from the list.

Remarks

Enter a description of the changes required.

  1. Click Save to save your changes.
